The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra & Goa, conducted its Quarterly Pension Adalat on March 16, 2026, at the office of the Principal General Manager Telecom (PGMT) in Pune. The session was chaired by Dr. Satish Chandra Jha, Controller of Communication Accounts for Maharashtra & Goa.

During the Adalat, five pension-related applications were formally taken up and examined in accordance with the provisions of the CCS (Pension) Rules. All five cases were successfully resolved. In addition, nearly 30 other pension-related grievances from various units were discussed, with the majority being settled on the spot.

Pensioners who attended the Adalat appreciated the transparent and efficient handling of their concerns. They also commended the cooperation and responsiveness of the officials and staff involved in the process.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jha noted that the declining number of cases being brought before the Pension Adalat reflects the improving efficiency of the pension settlement system, indicating better grievance redressal mechanisms within the department.
