KTR Foresees Kamareddy’s Progress Under KCR’s MLA Tenure
BRS working president KT Rama Rao affirmed the commitment of the BRS government to facilitate the flow of River Godavari water into Kamareddy’s fields and resolve drinking water issues within a year.
Highlighting the impact of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s representation in Gajwel, Rama Rao indicated an accelerated pace of development in Kamareddy. He envisioned the establishment of additional educational institutions, citing the model set by the Chief Minister’s presence in Gajwel.
Rama Rao dismissed opposition claims of the Chief Minister being a non-local candidate, pointing out the origins of Congress candidate A Revanth Reddy and BJP candidate K Venkatramana. Emphasizing the Chief Minister’s ancestral ties to Konapur village in the constituency, Rama Rao defended KCR’s local roots.
Drawing attention to welfare initiatives, Rama Rao highlighted Telangana’s unique support for beedi workers with a monthly pension of Rs. 2016. He critiqued past governments, challenging their failure to implement similar schemes, refuting misconceptions about welfare initiatives by contrasting the present government’s actions with previous regimes.
Promising future developments, Rama Rao urged voters to elect the Chief Minister with a substantial majority for the establishment of educational institutions, IT hubs, and an underground drainage network. He discouraged supporting Congress or BJP due to their alleged involvement in divisive politics, asserting that true progress lies with the BRS government.
Rama Rao detailed the BRS government’s proposed initiatives, including subsidized gas cylinders, monthly financial assistance for women through the Soubhagya Lakshmi scheme, phased increments in Aasara pensions up to Rs. 5000, distribution of fine rice under the Annapurna program, a Rs. 5 lakh insurance coverage, and the construction of dedicated Mahila Samakhya Bhavans in each ward to support women.
