Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, extended his greetings to the Matua community on the sacred occasion of Matua Dharma Mela, which marks the 215th birth anniversary of Purna Brahma Shree Shree Harichand Thakur.
In a post on X, Shri Amit Shah conveyed his warm wishes to the community and paid tribute to the spiritual legacy of Harichand Thakur. He described Thakur Ji as a divine personality who explored the depth of India’s spiritual wisdom and spread the values of devotion, equality, and righteous living.
The Home Minister said that these principles continue to guide society even today. He also expressed hope that Matua Dharma Mela 2026, being held in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, would further strengthen people’s commitment to these ideals and inspire them to uphold the teachings of Harichand Thakur.
